Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime Mini Album

Brace yourself everyone. I have a ton of pictures to show you! I just finished my new 8x8 spring album. There is about 37 pictures in all, which isn't too surprising since it took me almost 30 hours to make!! I used the new Graphic 45 "Once Upon a Springtime" collection, which is gorgeous! I used my entire 12x12 paper stack on it, with only a few scraps left.
I used two primary sources for my graphics:

This is a great shop on Etsy with beautiful vintage french postcards
http://www.etsy.com/shop/FrenchKissed
and here is a blog with some of the best free clip art that I have found
http://vintagecatnip.blogspot.com/search/label/digital%20collage

Here is a link to the video for this album:

I also finally finished a tutorial on my book binding process that I have been working on for months. I like my albums to look as close to "real" books as possible. I don't like to use paper bags, book rings, or chipboard for the pages, so I developed my own method.  The tutorial gives you step by step instructions and a picture for every step. Here is a link to my Etsy shop where the tutorial can be found:

Now let's look at the mini!

The Beginning of a Mini Album

I'm going to start on a Spring/Easter mini today. Usually when I get an idea for an album, it starts with a single stamp or a piece/collection of paper. My inspiration this time was the Graphic 45 collection, "Once Upon a Springtime". Of course, I know I will probably end up putting several other lines in as well. Once I had the paper, I went through my stash for items that would coordinate. This morning I went to Hobby Lobby to pick up several things shown below. This is just what I am starting with. Some things from the pile will never make it into the album, and some things will be added as the project takes shape.
I'm really excited! The last several projects I did were in dark, somber colors. Now I get to work with lighter (dare I say "girlie"?) colors!

Remember Me?!

Hi There!
It's been a while (months!) since my last post. I got caught up in the holidays, and a bunch of other stuff. Unfortunately, scrapbooking is always last on the to do list. I spent the last few days cleaning up my trashed workspace. The last thing that I made was a Fall mini album. I never got the chance to post it here, so here it is. I will also be making a Youtube video of it in detail. I will post the link here when it is done.

I hand made the gold flowers on the cover. There is a lot of sparkle in this album that is hard to see in the pictures. Hopefully it will show up better in the video.
