Halloween Mini

After seeing all of the cool new Halloween stuff in the stores lately, I had to do an early Halloween album to get it out of my system so that I can concentrate on a fall album! I LOVE Halloween and Christmas, you will be seeing a lot of it on my blog in the coming months. I am going to do a video for this one so that you can see all of the interactive stuff; pockets, picture flaps, etc. I will probably have it up sometime tomorrow morning.

Florida Vacation Album

I haven't had this much fun making an album since I made my Christmas album at the beginning of the year. Our family took three trips to Florida since April, and I needed a decent sized book for all of the photos I took (I'm a photo takin nut!). I made this one out of 6x9 envelopes. It's a GREAT size, I will be doing more albums in that size in the future. I primarily used two paper collections. One from Bo Bunny and the other from Creative Imaginations. I will do a video of this mini tomorrow for YouTube. If you need to go to the bathroom or refill your drink, do it now, because there are a ton of pictures with this post!

I cut out the title, pelican and these flowers/leaves with my Cricut. I used the Life's a Beach cartridge.

I cut out this sea shell from the patterned paper and covered it with Rock Candy distress paint.

Love this little sea horse. I'm so excited that I finally found a use for my ten year old Magic Mesh, WHOO Hoo! Remember that stuff?!

This cute little palm tree brad is from Creative Imaginations. I removed the prongs (by bending back and forth) and glued it on.

Here's a view of the pages with the flaps open.

You can't tell in the picture, but this paper is so shimmery and beautiful!

The plants are punched out using the Martha Stewart Oak Leaf punch. It's on clearance at Michael's right now for about $5.

I've had this charm in my stash forever. I attached it to a Tim Holtz clip. He's so cute, his mouth opens and closes!

Here is the back
Are you still with me?........
